What kind of door latch did it come with?  Pin latch or
rectangular thing that slides to open?

If you look at Karl's pictures on his web site, he got
the slider latch.  Others got the latch held by a pin.
Of course, Karl's fridge does not have the muffin fan
attached to the condensor, which all the others seem to.
Maybe his was prototype A and mine was prototype B...
or C or D or....

Some got all the electrical stuff inside the box on the
back of the fridge, and I got a separate box.

Do A and B go together or are there four (or more) versions?

I don't know.  I think we all bought the C51isac....

I like the latch I got.  The electric box I don't care about.
I just mounted it under the sink drawer.  It has the 12V
and 120V hookups.  From it to the fridge, just two wires.
Other fridges have all that stuff in the upper rear corner
of the fridge.

Anyway, it's moot.  There is a new fridge.  See Karl's
pages.  Truckfridge has a version that seems to have even
a third kind of latch!

Plus its rear electricals look different from any I've seen,
but the interior looks identical.  I'll bet $$$ it is a version
of the Vitrifrigo.  (It does have the muffin fan....)

[From family I have some familiarity with "small workshop"
Italian manufacturing.  None of this is surprising.  What
matters is that each and every one is beautiful and stylish.
And of course, cold inside.]
