Subject: NEW hi-power starter for your engine conversions,
              automatic and manual!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

For those of you that have done or are planning to do an automatic or manual diesel, TDI, or Subaru conversion, you'll probably find that there are no decent starters that fit the WBX bell housing and really do the job well long-term. The infamous 'Hi-Torque' starters seem to fail often and don't provide enough power in cold weather. The solution I've come up with is using the starter from the 1996-2003 Passat and Jetta TDI. No longer will you worry what starter to use that will be capable of cranking over your conversion-this stock TDI Jetta/Passat starter does the job very well. Check it out on my parts page:

Thanks! Karl
