Amazing man and a wealth of knowledge. We hit it off the first time we meet and I didn't own a Vanagon yet, long time ago. He was involved in SCCA at a race track that I managed. Since, we would talk on the phone now and again for hours, no joke, my cell phone went over the allowed minutes often when we would get into it. He will be missed.

The eloquence, reverence, heart and tenderness that is being expressed over Bob's passing, is such an honorable obituary, and I admit, I'm a little surprised. Not about Bob, but about the rest of us and our depth.

Whew! He brought the best to his work and seems to be doing the same with us.

Thanks for upleveling us all, Bob.
