RE: What to do after getting the bad numbers from the insurance company.

First, you should have the option to 'buy back' the rig, an amount usually in the $400 to $600 range, maybe lower, those numbers are based on what I've seen for campers.

Second, try to get an estimate from a couple of repair shops, probably a problem since the rig is not drivable. Then decide, can you replace the rig for the amount that it would cost to actually get it repaired?

Third, do you have a place to either work on it yourself or part it out? If so, with some effort on your part, you can probably end up dollars ahead.

Also try to find good comparable sales or just plain argue with the adjuster. It's more than likely that he will come up at least a few dollars, he's not going to offer the max on the first discussion.
