I have an '87 with power locks that is missing the rear hatch lock cylinder and the "lever" that bolts to it. I got a cylinder and lever from a Vanagon with manual locks. All the parts fit, but I can't lock it with the key, as the key won't turn quite all the way. It looks like the "lever" is catching, as if it was the wrong shape. Does anyone know if this lever is different between the power and manual lock vanagons? If so, anyone have one from a power lock they could sell me? Bill |
