it's more than just lengthing the piece that holds out the door...............I have one already modified if anyone wants to buy it. It's also necessary to modify the body under that panel that comes off........ the part where the 'extender rod' 'parks' needs to be moved the corresponding distance - if the 'rod' part is an inch longer, where it parks needs to be moved an inch aftward on the body. . Also need to be clear about if you are talking about 85 and later, or before that. They are two different designs. the 'extender rod' I modified and still have is for an 85 and later.
