There is quite a but of information on theSamba.com about pistons and the difference between manufactures. Tencentlife on the Samba has done some experimentation with various setups. Also Van Café sells German Meyle pistons and sleeves, and I believe you can buy pistons and sleeves from GoWesty but you have to call them as they are not listed on their website. FWIW, I believe Boston Bob used COFAP, or good used and refurbished OE piston and sleeves depending on what the customer requested. So what Pistons are best? What's the deal with the 2.2 pistons I see available for $450? Any good? Worth it? R |
