HA! There's MORE!!!! Turns out that my neighbor (we just met TODAY while I was taking pics of Blackbeard) is the SERVICE AND REPAIR MANAGER at the VW Dealership in Vegas!!!! AND his best friend (who ALSO owns a Vanagon) also works in the service department, SPECIALIZES in transporters AND establishment of market values! *NO WAY!!!!* He said to forward pics to him for an accurate estimate of repairs and a FAIR value quote! He did say that there's no way in HE|| it's valued as low as what the insurance company quoted me, and that he'd do what he could to make sure that I come out of this as painlessly as possible - WITH Blackbeard!
This is starting to get good. Hope it STAYS that way! :o) Keep your fingers crossed for us! LOL -Drew
