That's good news, means it's not the gauge. Put the controller back in, pull the plug at the pressure tank and jumper across it, then turn on ignition. If that makes it stop blinking, then very high probability that all is correct from the jumper forward (to make absolutely sure, use a 100K resistor for the jumper.

If it still blinks, short the jumper to ground and try again. If that cures it, you have a bad ground on the plug.

If these tests succeed, pull the sensor out and vigorously clean pins with fine sandpaper, also check that your coolant has correct 50/50 mix.

If they don't succeed, you have a bad controller or an open circuit in the wiring from sensor to controller.
