I've just been pricing it out at McMaster-Carr. Using "AN" (37 degree flare) high-pressure aluminum fittings, looks like it would come in at about $200 the way I'm thinking of doing it. That doesn't count the cost of a couple tools I don't have -- a good tube bender and the 37-degree flaring tool. If I proceed I'll take some pics.
