Here is a little trick that I learned in North Carolina while visiting Bob Hicks of "VW Hicks" shop. If you get grime in your nails by not using gloves, have handy a guitar pick and your favorite (ivory) bar of soap. Dig into the soap with your nails (like a tiger) and use the pick to bring out the shaving of soap with a lot of the grime. Then the brush works a little less. As for solutions, dish soap and goop are King in my surroundings. Oh and my local Harbor Freight flier has the Nitrile gloves on Sale! Guess where I was going this weekend? Hope this helps, Tony -- 82 Scirocco "Rodolfo" 85 Vanagon "Blubrik, El Guapo" |
