*This probably depends on your state and the insurance company's policies. I have had 3 vehicles totalled in California. they were all declared as salvage, but I was offered the option of full-coverage despite that. Since they were only "ordinary" vehicles, I just put liability on them. That was with 21st Century.

What a nightmare! Which insurance company are you using?
