I am insured with Geico. Last time I filed a claim I never needed to fight for anything. In fact It's always them calling me and told me what they were going to do. At the end they sent me a check that I was more than happy to accept. It was my son driving my Passat. But it was not his fault and it was just a dent and a scratch. We never needed to disclose the fact he is an attorney. The insurance company did what they should in my opinion. We were treated very nicely. I received 8 maybe 10 calls throughout and I never feel need to call them to dispute with anything. The repair turned out to be not cheap as the adjuster said. We are paid fairly.

The other party (at fault) tried to fight I believe. But we did not even need to do anything other than showing the Passat to the adjusters to both sides. They both agreed that the other party was 100% at fault.
