The ContiPremiumContact &  ContiWinterContact is indeed a nice tire.

But that is a 19" tire ... are you really running 19" tire on your
Vanagons?

I have used Dunlop Aquajets  and other similar tires of the time on my
Split, many years ago.

I can't remember what was on my Caravelle when I bought it; these
tires are still on it (and haven't needed pumping since it was laid-up
in 1998). They are Bridgestones, I think, and are definitely car
tires, 185/85R14, nothing special. Of course this van is a 7-seater,
so is not likely to be used to its full capacity, but I wouldn't
hesitate to pull the seats and carry a full load on car tires.

The Maybach 57 lists at 6050 pounds mass. I can't find a website that
gives usable (or even sensible) answers... at best they give the tire
type, but not a brand/model.

275/50 R 19 112 H XL) as winter tire."

OK, so there's one car tire that EXCEEDS the T2's heaviest spec. If
you want 19" tires... but Mercedes' older S-Class used normal-sized
tires of similar load-rating.
