Volks!

Blackbeard's situation has taken an EXTREMELY fortunate turn for the better, all thanks to Dave in MD!

He's offered a donor vehicle for what I'll need to bring Blackbeard back, all in ONE vehicle - but the fact that he's in MD poses the only hiccup in the plan.

The mission: Get the donor Vanagon from MD to Vegas as CHEAPLY AS POSSIBLE!

Note that I am not in a huge hurry, and as such am not inclined to pay a premium to get it here in a hurry.

The key word here is *CHEAP*!

I initially used Accurate Auto Carriers to have him shipped from WA to Chicago, but I was in more of a hurry at the time and willing to pay that premium.

Not the case now!

I'm thinking more along the lines of a "my uncle Billy is haulin' a load of walnuts your way and has some room left over" kinda situation - and shipping cost.

I'll hit the archives as well, but also wanted to hit the lists in order to see if anyone had any valuable references or otherwise unavailable info to send my way.

Thanks!

'90 GL "Blackbeard" . . . vital signs are improving!
