Maggie,

Sorry to offer this after you have already gone to the expense and effort to
have tint applied. I did some extensive testing on window tint out here in
sunny Calif. What I found everytime was that the "tint heats the glass" even
with the full reflective mirror tint the glass got hot and creates "solar
mass" which in turn is a bugger to cool down.

A light curtain behind the glass will reflect out most of the solar gain and
the glass will stay cool.

VW had it right.
