Edisto Beach State Park SC between Xmas and New Years. We want to

It's been a while since I lived in SC, but my wife and I used to
enjoy hanging out at "the Battery", with nice homes and view of Fort
Sumter (lots of Civil War history in Charleston). There used to be a
nifty flea market in town on Saturday morning, held in a historically-
interesting setting. Middleton Gardens is very nice, and with an
"antebellum flavor". You should seek 'She-crab soup' and 'low country
barbecue' for some regional dining specialties. Enjoy.
