I find the scrub brushes are too hard on my skin. Wouldn't even dare use a green scrub pad!!! I use soft toothbrushes for my teeth. I always save old toothbrushes. They're useful in the kitchen for cleaning hard-to-reach places. Included in that is under and around my fingertips.

I confess that I (B) don't do much auto work. So I don't have the issue of greasy dirt. I do enough cooking that I wind up with stinky stuff (garlic, lovely!!! but only before and during dinner) on my skin. Then I grab a tablespoon of lemon juice and rub it in before washing my hands.
