Try this: Find a level area (such as a supermarket parkinglot). Park about 3-4 carlengths directly behind a parked car and set your low beams. Adjust until the lights are pointing straight ahead (NOT off to the right) and raise them until the low-beam cutoff is just below the rear window of the car ahead. Just make sure it's not a car with an unusually high trunklid level! I have used this trick with various Hella H4s, and it works fine. -- Andrew Grebneff Dunedin, New Zealand Fossil preparator Mollusc, Toyota & VW van nut Temporarily in Calgary, AB, Canada <goose1047@gmail.com> ------------------------------------------------------------ + To unsubscribe from the Vanagon List send an e-mail to + listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with SIGNOFF VANAGON + in the body of the message. ------------------------------------------------------------ |
