I recently changed to the H-4 Euro headlights in my 84. I've been 'refining' the aim of these after following the directions included in the box with the Hella lights. I seem to be getting pretty close to right with the aim and they are a big improvement over what I had. But, the switch between low beam and high beam...Do others find that the beam angle changes a whole lot? The way I have mine aimed right now, which is pretty close to what's specified in the aiming instructions, it seems the low beam setting is OK, but the high beams are too high. If I bring the highbeams down, it puts the low beams too low...In my view anyhow. Am I missing something or is this the best one can do with these...find a compromise. (?) When I flick on my brights, the road lights up about a mile ahead and not so much right within the needed range, yet if I lower the aim, my low beam seem like they're pointed just a few yards in front of the van.. Anybody else get this impression with the Hella lights?
