That makes sense. The alt belt did show some glazing, I just didn't know
that that was where the sound was coming from. The times when I've heard
the belt scream with the engine warm were all at night when the
headlights were on.

$25 for two belts, and now I have usable spares stashed under the back
seat. Kinda makes the dirt under my fingernails worthwhile.
