Good Morning Listers, With all of the recent discussion on GPS units, I suggest that the recently released Garmin nuvi500 may be ideal for some of you on this list. It has some additional capabilities that I found sufficiently useful to justify it's somewhat higher price ($500 retail, $375 web). It comes with both street and topographic map loads, and advertises a 7hr battery life for use while hiking and cycling. *Best Regards, Jon B Kanas Email: kanas<>qadas.com <mailto:kanas@qadas.com> LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/jonkanas Longmont, Colorado; Cultural Center of the Universe Website: http://www.qadas.com/~kanas <http://www.qadas.com/%7Ekanas> * > ------------------------------------------------------------ + To unsubscribe from the Vanagon List send an e-mail to + listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with SIGNOFF VANAGON + in the body of the message. ------------------------------------------------------------ |
