Whoah, Ken! I think you meant to say "if you are NOT stomping on the brakes at the same time." I used the same method (working quickly and didn't stomp the brakes) and lost only a few drops. Seems like I used deep socket wrenches and u-joint adapters to tighten. Bleeding wasn't necessary.
