Ah well then, if I were to choose an early Beetle with which to drive on a
daily basis, I'd opt for a pristine example of a '67 standard as my top
choice, though a '73 through '77 Superbeetle would also be up there for a
daily driver. As a third choice, a '75-'77 standard beetle w/L-Jetronic
would be pretty cool, as well.
