Stephen, I think that, after the dust settles and you have all your $ and repairs, it would be valuable to query the adjuster on the specifics of your claim. Specifically, speak of the plight the typical Vanagon owner finds himself in when making a claim, in contrast with your experience. This could yield some valuable information for the list.
