hi. not sure if I follow you exactly. You're thinking of changing your current two-person-across rear seat to a single person seat ?

if so, fitting in a front seat comes to mind, in place of your current rear bench seat.

Or..............I've got this really nice Jump Seat out of a Wolfsburg Vanagon, that I'd sell. As you may know, this single person seat usually fits in a vangon facing aft, and I have the really nifty bracket that goes with them, so they come right out by lifting just one pin. The seat back also folds forward sorta almost flat. Pretty nice seat actually . You could keep your current rear seat, and add this one in. And since it goes right in and out........you have a nicely re-configurable setup that way. That's your best bet I think.........genuine VW and Vanagon, and easily removable, without tools even.

or, how about a perfect condition seat from a Subaru car. ? ...........I have one of those too, passenger's side..............has very low butt-miles on it. Scott www.turbovans.com
