John,

I think it has less to do with being politically correct and more to do with
the tightening and enforcement of the list rules.
While I agree with what you are saying it seems that the majority of those
on this list - or at least the vocal majority have made it clear that it is
to be Vanagon content and Vanagon content only. I'm not being critical of
that idea - but I do miss the more conversational threads.

That's just the way I see it.
