Dear american triple a and canadian double a clubers

the rv designation on your membership is for one important reason ... to detail to the call center that you may require a tow truck large enough to handle an RV -- the extra miles of towing and happier than a mouse at a cheese festival treatment given to rv plus members is extended to regular members as it is policy of all in the triple or double a culture -- so has been my experience and i have been a member on and off for a very long time -- the tow service received does vary from place to place ... and is often hinged on the call center persons knowledge of your plan keeping the book that came with your membership in the vanagon is important should you require a quibble settler also having the plus service has resulted in several tows billed to my canadian double a ... that i utilized when broken down in usa i still fondly think of the fellow who picked us up on 101 just outside of king city california it was now late and he was a little glum ... he was speaking in spanish on his cell as we settled into his cab -- he turned to me in the darkness ... the blue glow of his cell illuminating his face -- in well toned polite business english he asked me where i thought we were going -- he then said something in half spanish and half english to his cell phone person-- part of what he said was to tell his listener that he had no idea how long he would be cause he did not know what sort of membership we had-- i flashed my premium card in the darkness ... said loudly ... we have premium rv plus... he said something quickly in spanish to his cell phone > shut is > and flashed his beautiful white teeth at me -- Where would you like to go? he asked. the nearest VW dealer says i -- he grins again ... He dropped us in the parking lot of the Salinias California VW -- we spent the night and made repairs our selves in the parking lot with the help of Manny the service writer --

Bottom line in this story ... which i have told here before -- is ... premium rv plus getes you more tow miles when you require them --
