there's a yahoo group for that vehicle. I worked on one that was stuck in 1st gear. I went to yahoo groups, found 500 some RV groups, and about the 70th one was for LeSaro's.

Is the the turbo diesel engine in yours ? A common conversion on those is a Buick or Chrysler V-6 gasoline engine and auto trans, I believe. I have a friend who owns one. It's not bad, and can go 20 mpg on the highway. The ETKA for our Vanagons is super helpful. I have heard that there is something like it for RENAULT. Anyone know of it? I need some part numbers. There are no RENAULT dealers in the U.S. anymore. I have tried the North American Renault Club Forum with no results (they don't seem to be the most active or enthusiastic group around--especially compared to VW or Vanagon for that matter!). I don't have a cool old Renault sports car, but a 88 LeSharo camper, 2.2 ltr 4 cylinder.
