What is the best grease for CV joints?

It goes without saying that it is imperative to use the proper
molybdenum enhanced high-temperature CV joint specified EP (extreme
pressure) grease in constant velocity joints.  Regular grease should
never be used.  It's also important not to mix molybdenum enhanced
grease with regular grease because it will cause increased corrosion.

So, what is the best type of CV joint grease?  I have been greasing CV
joints for more than 36 years on my personal cars and my experience is
that Valvoline DuroBlend synthetic grease is superior to any regular,
non-synthetic, molybdenum enhanced CV joint grease I have ever used.  I
have used it to reinstall CV joints that were damaged in 30k miles with
traditional CV joint grease, showing significant galling and pitting.
On reinspection of the same joints 70K later I found they had no
additional wear evident and I reinstalled them after regreasing and they
are still running.

Everyone has their personal preferences and I'm sure there are other
high quality CV joint greases available.  This is just my personal
recommendation of a superior product that is significantly better than
anything I have ever used.
