Thanks for the Steve's referral. I'll put it right on my cell phone address list (which will be backed up!)

My local VW dealer will have nothing to do with Vanagons, but there is one who is fairly local (about 20 miles) that is Vanagon-friendly.

I don't know if you saw that I found a key inside the van and am now able to drive it, but I still may need to change the locks. If my purse was STOLEN, and not just picked up for safekeeping, there is a Vanagon key and several documents inside with my address. Could a locksmith change the cylinders, or would I have to get new door and ignition locks?
