You may or may not be aware of it BUT the Full Moon Bus Club has decided not to hold their EveryBus in the Spring this year; unbelievable, I know. While I don't want to get in a urinary time and distance trial with the people at FMBC (and I've belonged to FMBC for about ten years now) BUT I have to ask .... Why can't those of us that have been constant and loyal supporters of EB at Hagen Stone Park in the Spring do our own Spring campout? I always try to schedule some vacation and attend. I look forward to the weekend as a brief early touch of Spring in the midst of the last throes of Winter here in Ohio. Anyone else want to try to get together at H-S for an early Spring campout? I know and have met several of you from the V-List at EB... so I can only assume that there may be a modicum of interest here. I might be able to convince a dozen or so of my fellow campers from Ohio and surrounding states to trek down if we can get some of you other Vanagon types to commit to the weekend. We are a hardy camp group and easily can organize this thing, albeit on a smaller scale than a normal EB. What say you? Stephen Chillicothe Ohio PS. Short of doing some long distance sleuthing, and I will if necessary... Can someone in the area check with the Greensboro Park System people and see if there is a weekend open for us to drive down- up-over and camp? ------------------------------------------------------------ + To unsubscribe from the Vanagon List send an e-mail to + listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with SIGNOFF VANAGON + in the body of the message. ------------------------------------------------------------ |
