yeah, we went over and over thinking about what it would take to produce
fiberglass AW Vanagon tops........
and what people would pay for them.
At $ 4,000 installed perhaps there is money to be made.
I figure 'a reasonable price that someone would be willing to pay for one'
is closer to $ 2,000.
But there's no way widows and fittings, and trim, and labor can fit in that
number and anyone make any actual money - seems to me.
Even for the bare top at 2K..........
even that seems like there's not much room in there for decent profit for
the materials and effort involved, unless you're doing say 3 a week.......
and that doesn't seem likely - that sort of sales volume.
Just doesn't pencil out, seems to me.
