Hopefully he can use the hall signal for RPM and doesn't need a crank pickup. Maybe for Haltech you do need a crank sensor.

It's really interesting to see people on the list working with SEM systems. The learning curve is very steep, but the payoffs are worth it, and the knowledge gathered can be applied to any gas powered make or model of car.

Much praise max for the courage to setup a custom engine management solution for the wbx. This is one of it's greatest weaknesses. What are you doing for a crank pickup? Is the haltech just being used for fuel control or are you doing spark with it as well? Also did you splice into the factory wiring harness? If you've got datalogging capabilities and reference materials for the haltec, I can also see if I can give you some help. It should be pretty easy to set it us since it's MAP based, what are you using for ECT and IAT sensing? Also what's the pricetag of the hardware you've got into it so far?
