Well, VW could make it but put Porsche badges on it and Porsche could market it. Porsche could redesign the suspension to suit; it's not as if it would need much work to do. A true sport-commercial (I can't believe that I see Dodge Caravans and US pickups with "sport" badges... what planet do these manufacturers live on?). The VC in Syncros could be Japanese; I haven't heard of say Nissan VCs needing replacement.
