My bus was originally a sunroof bus but has a poptop added. So, for the winter and whenever i'm not camping, i close the sunroof with the hand crank and find it keeps the car infinately more warm than the thin layer or fiberglass roof. I think there's alot of heat loss through the roof, even with the top down while driving..... A fleecel iner for the roof might be wise as well.
