I bought a set (4) of these HD German flaps for my Westy and when they arrived I liked them so much I ordered a second set for the Transporter.

I have had a set of the SA mud flaps on my Westy for about 6 years and I never really liked how they were attached. They need regular inspections and adjustments to prevent the rears from falling off.

Ron, instructions for installing these German flaps would be great!

They don't come with any instructions but I'm sure I can figure it out, with time. I'm also going to check the ETKA for clues. I did observe that the ss brackets utilize the quite a few of the formerly unnoticed factory holes in my van. The hardware included looks nice and there's a lot of it! I'll try to take a few photos as I'm installing them but it won't be until next week or so. I'm painting my Westy and the first coat is setting up as I type this.

Thanks for supplying these Ron. (And for keeping me in the loop while they were in transit from Germany.)

I get asked about these all the time, so I thought I'd post a note that I have them once again. Until now they were unavailable for several years.

These are the stock German mud flaps that can be found on the right front of the Vanagon camper (to protect the propane tank). However all 4 corners are actually available, so you replace just the one, or get up to 4. These are genuine VW, from the original molds, but the brackets are now stainless steel so they won't rust.
