What am I missing? This thread started with the observation that searching the archives just doesn't work.

It works for me; I must be doing something wrong. I searched, from http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?S1=vanagon for "acura overheating" from January 2001 to January 2007. In a few seconds under 4 minutes, it returned the three relevant messages from November 2006.

I tried again with Jan 2006 to Jan 2007, as if I knew what I was looking for, and it took 45 seconds.

I usually search in several-year intervals, like the first. Is 4 minutes "not working?" I'm retired, so I have 4 minutes....
