Most inverters will shut off at 10.5 or 11.00 volts under load as since they
need a minimum voltage to operate properly. You don't say what size inverter
you have, how it is wired, and what size battery. Inverters, batteries, and
the charging system need to be designed to work as a system. Give some
details and I can offer some help.

I just installed an second deep cycle battery but just realized that my
inverter will stop working when the battery starts to get low. It is
designed for to protect the starting battery, is there anyway to get more
use out of it when connected to the deep cycle battery. Is there some
inverter designed for this? Thanks, deek
