it's about time !!

sure........if they can act just like air tires, why not ? Only thing I see missing is the ability to adjust the tire's characteristics somewhat with different air pressure settings, which is one of the brilliant things about the Pneumatic Tire.......which is over a hundred years old as an invention........ it's Tuneable ! And what about when you load up the rear of your old beater station wagon with used vanagon engines and transmissions from your local pick n' pull...... how'er ya gonna make the rear tires more able to carry that load ? Stuff 'rubber inserts' into them to make them able to carry more load ?

Personally, I like 'in-flight tire pressure adjustability' .........very few vehicles have it ..........Humvee is one. thanks for posting this.........wondered if it was a joke at first, almost still do a little. Scott
