yeah, 2kw or 2000 watts, was always was I was talking about, Haynes threw in the k, maybe by accident. Well, I guess that mean there is no way I would need a bigger inverter, even for surges, cause my three planned batteries would only combine to be 300 amp-hours. I don't think I want eight  batteries, unless I want to tow them. But we get nuked, and everyone starts looting, then I'll grab some extra batteries from Sears before I split for the woods. 

Then this is just the rare surging. Might never have anything that surges that high. And whatever surge there is, is transitory, and that increases the odds the batteries can handle it.
