I was not aware that the flywheel for this was NLA and I guess I would not expect the engine adapter to be, but how relevant is this last one if you already have it in and isn't it the same as the adapter plate for the diesel? There are items that are NLA for the Vanagon and its 2.1, but that hasn't and won't stop me from owning either and, as I have said, if I don't sell it, I won't hesitate to use it in a 2wd. Thanks,
