One reason I built a homebrew VW I4. I used as many stock pieces as possible, so in *theory*, it's easy to get parts for. My homemade exhaust primaries/"Y" and brackets not withstanding. But then any competent fabricator should be able to follow what I've made, and possibly improve on it, should the part fail.

I certainly feel for the Tiico people who might be in a pinch though. But then I'm learning that most anything can be done to keep these babies running!
