I've not used the 3-point conversion kit.

When I bought my Westy,, first thing I did was to install new seat belt replacements. I have one boy, soon to be two, and would never try to reuse belts from another vehicle (saving a buck or two or a hundred vs peace of mind when dealing wirh them is not worth it). I bought lap belts for their car-seats.
