When I was learning to drive a stick my old man had this little Toyota truck
w/ 4wd. The man never had too much to say to me but he occasionally had a
few life lessons. He told me this, "4wd might go better in the snow but it
won't stop any better". I of course ignored him, and a few weeks later was
zipping along a backroad covered in snow and ice. Things were great and
then I went to stop....luckily no damage except some soiled underwear.
Lesson learned, thanks Dad.
