I guess I'm wondering why you would need a welder to put a poptop on your synchro?? Unless I'm missing something, you usually CUT the metal top off, and install the poptop, after putting a plastic seam/welt around the raw metal edge of the top you have cut off. I'm sure there are smarter souls on here than me that will chime in. Regards, Courtney
