I have been here since 99, i have spent countless hours writing here. And countless is a small word. In those years i gave at 95%, i never ask much as i don't need to. I was pissed off last year by one of those stupid useless thread... it was just too much. And NO, i don't accept/agree with "Stupidity", over the past years, my face turned RED way to often. Of course being who i am i plunge into it i went bezurk too. But NEVER i started any fight here, never i would do so. But the heck yes!!! i will reply to "Stupidity", and the heck yes you will know my opinion. There is to many plain jealous / stupid /ignorant people that hide behind a computer screen and say stuff they would not even think of saying in real life in front of real person! The problem with any list is the poor control the moderator has over the content. There is little ways to control Gerry's list system. Yahoo is better but still. I got off the digest mode and have been a lurker since 2004 when the Larry Chase thread went bezurk and out of control (the old one may remember). Peace. Ben http://www.benplace.com/vw2.htm
>( am I allowed to reply here at the top ? ) >re Ben's comment......... >that's funny, I used to think a year or 3 ago that this group was populated >by a lot of very clueless vanagon owners ( like ....'ah, it runs lousy, >where do I start ? ) ( when they don't even know what a distributor is, >say ) ........ >now I don't think that so much anymore at all. >There is the occasional 'where do we start ? post ) but mostly....... >one heckava lot of knowledge and a darn useful resource !! > |
