Why take a chance on a used Evaporator. You can buy a new one for $52 from the Van Café. I just ordered one for my 88GL.

When I swapped out the charcoal filter on my '81 (for Jetta engine swap) I noticed the air cooled and Jetta cannisters looked *very* similar.

If need could one substitute one from another vehicle?
