I've tried to stay out of this but as I always say I just can't. (one of my
major flaws)

First to Jim - I understand you frustration and I just want to thank you for
all that you have done for this list. I know that I haven't always conformed
to the rules and I hope I personally didn't cause you too much grief. I
really have tried to be much better about that.

As for this list being terrible and going down the tubes my only comment is
that a few months back I didn't see anyone saying anything even close to
that when we were able to band together and lend such a helping hand to the
family of Boston Bob (as it should have been). I only bring that up because
everyone (including myself) was trumpeting the greatness of this list then.

As far as rules go - not matter if you like them or not there has to be some
guidelines to go by or this won't work at all. However, I also think it
would help if we had less snippy sarcastic comments when someone does cross
the "rules" line a bit (and the remarks I speak of certainly didn't come
from our moderator). Boy, a gentle reminder is one thing but some of the
stuff I've read recently borders on poor behavior.

That's just my .02 - not that anyone cares. Will any of this cause me to
leave the list - hell no.
