Yup greed!

One barrel of oil has something like 170L of oil - so about (assuming $40 a barrel) so about $0.24 per liter... currently at the pumps in Quesnel is it $0.70 for gasoline and $0.95 for Diesel - oil at the department store here, cheap no-name crap, is about $2.00 a liter and it is not taxed nearly as much as fuel is taxed.  Yup - we're getting screwed!
